Beijing Ander Technologies have undertaken the "Honeycomb and Screen Manufacturing and Installation" in AAWT project of China Automotive Engineering Research Institute, which has been successfully delivered and passed the static acceptance.

Project Introduction

The wind tunnel center of China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd. is divided into two parts: environmental wind tunnel and aero-acoustic wind tunnel. The project investment is about 500 million, built in 2016 and will be put into service in the second half of 2019. The design indicators of the two full-scale wind tunnels of CAERI are designed in accordance with the technical requirement of international advanced automobile wind tunnels. After completed, it will provide the automobile industry with complete automobile wind tunnel testing, CFD simulation analysis and automobile aerodynamics, aeroacoustics, thermodynamic performance optimization design and development of one-stop technical services.

The honeycomb and damping screen projects undertaken by our company for wind tunnels are not only large in size of a single module, but also require no joints inside the damping screen and good tension. Depending on it, we have set up a project development team, which is meticulously organized and has drawn to a plan for development and implement. At the same time, we have communicated with the wind tunnel engineering and design team to deal with various problems of connecting interface, overcome various difficulties, solved many problems on-site, and ensured on time delivery of good quality products.

Led by the project manager, our professional technicians and on-site installation team entered the field in mid-of January 2019 to start the installation. According to the overall project schedule, all installation, testing and other tasks were completed in mid-April, and passed the acceptance.
